Viva Las Vegas!

It's hard to believe that Spring Break has come to an end...it always goes bye so quickly!!! My Spring Break tradition is going to Las Vegas. I have gone to Vegas every year that I have been teaching and it's something I always look forward to during the school year. Vegas is the perfect vacation spot for me! It has the best of everything! Lots of SUN and great pools, AMAZING shopping, and Entertainment. What's there not to love?! For the first few years, Vegas was always a 'girls trip' that my Mom and I would take. But now that I am married, my hubby has stolen her place! Ha sorry ma!!!

This was an exciting trip because it was my first trip with my new passport with my new last name! My first trip being a MRS!
Woo hoo! My new last name!
So official!
This year we decided to stay at the Bellagio hotel. We had stayed there before a few years ago. It is a bbbbeautiful resort and definitely one of my favourite Vegas hotels!
Our room!
I LOVE when hotel rooms have giant bathrooms!! I need my space when getting ready haha just ask my husband!!

Yay we arrived!!
Getting settled in our room!
Our room had an AMAZING view!
This is the Bellagio at night. Every 15 minutes there was a 'water show' in the lake at the front of the hotel. It was set to different music each time and its truly beautiful to watch! We could even see the water and hear the music from our room!

Sooooo....Anytime I am in Vegas my trip is pretty much summed up by these 3 things......
 1. Pool time! (I am a SUN worshiper!)
 2. Shopping!
3. Eating. AND more Eating.

So here a a whole buncha pictures of us enjoying all of the above!!

Our first day at the pool!
Enjoying dinner at Sensi!
The drink menu was on an Ipad!
Having breakfast on the 'ship' at
 Margaritaville!

The Bellagio has the most beautiful flowers and displays everywhere!! They change all of the arrangements and decorations every few weeks! I have serious admiration for this because I cannot keep any plants alive in my house.Ever. No green thumb for me!!

It was another amazing Sping break Vegas trip!! People often ask me if I get bored going to the same place over and over. And I honestly don't think I ever will! Vegas has so much to offer! Its not just about gambling like everyone thinks! Although I do love to play the penny slots!! haha.
And I even learned how to play roulette this trip with my hubby!
My tip for you...always choose RED!

I Hope everyone had a great SPRING BREAK!!!
Now lets get all of that snow melted and spring started!!!!

30 YEARS!!!

These are my wonderful parents!

They are the reason I am here on this earth, and they have had a pretty big influence on who am as a person today!

And today they are celebrating their 30th wedding anniversary!!! 30!!!
That is a LONG time!! I can't even imagine what 30 years is
like because I'm not even 30 yet!! (soon tho..ugh)

My parents have always been people that I look up to. They are incredible people by themselves, but I think that their marriage and what they have when they are together, is what makes them amazing! They have always been honest with me and said that marriage is not easy, and something you have to work on every day. And I'm sure having 3 kids didn't always make that easy!
Especially when your dealing with these gentlemen yahoos!!
Ha ha love ya boys!!

I am very lucky to have such a great example of marriage from my parents! I can only hope that Damian and I can have a special bond like my parents do after 30 years! We have such a close family and we are truly lucky for that, because I know that that is not always the case!

It also helps that we all look SUPER awesome in NEON!!! ha!!

We celebrated my parents 30th anniversary last Friday! We took them to Pampa Brazilian Steakhouse in Edmonton. If you have never been, you must go!! It is AMAZING!!!
Everyone gets their own little 'meat' card! There are 10 chefs walking around with 10 different types of meat. If you have your green side UP they will bring you some meat!
GREEN MEANS GOOOO MEAT!

This is how they serve the meat!
On a sword!!
Kellen, Ma, and Pa
Just in case you didn't know....I am a SUPER SLOW eater. So a restaurant like this is not exactly my thing ha ha I rrrreally struggled at keeping up with the amount they kept bringing me!!!

RED means STOP the MEAT!!!

Me being a ssssslow eater!
YAY FOR 30 YEARS!!
Just missing Cody in this pic!!!
Kellen LOVED all of the meat!!
But didn't feel so hot later...ha ha
Somehow we still had room for dessert...They were delish!!

It was a fabulous evening!
Happy 30th Anniversary Mom and Dad!!
Can't wait to celebrate with you after another 30 years!!
We love you!!!
