We had newborn pictures taken of Sophia when she was 6 days old.

 I already look back at these pictures and can't believe how much she has changed!! 

I am so glad we were able to capture these early moments of her...

Father's Day 2014

On Sunday we celebrated Father's Day! 

And this Father's Day was extra special because it was Damian's very first Father's Day!! Even tho he has 'offocially' only been a Dad for just over a month, I can truly say he is an incrediable Daddy to Sophia and I look forward to watching their relationship grow over the years! Sophia loves her some Daddy snuggles, and all of the CRAZY songs he makes up and sings to her! Ha! Damian is SO patient with her when she refuses to sleep at night, and Mommy feels like she's losing her mind...ha! (I wish I was kidding!!) He walks and walks and WALKS with her...and has even driven around the block a few times at 3:45 am to try to settle her! He is quite the guy!! We are BOTH very lucky to have him!!

We started off the day with some cuddle time in bed and gifts! 

Sophia loves to shop and picked out a fancy new mug for her Daddy!

I made Damian a FANCY breakfast of oatmeal...ha ha! (His request!!)

And then he enjoyed some snuggles with Sophia and coffee in his new mug!

Father's Day this year...

And even tho it was Damian's special Father's Day,

 we couldn't forget to celebrate our incredible Dad's as well!!I feel SO blessed to have such a wonderful Dad and it has been the coolest thing to watch him now be the best grandpa to Sophia!!

We hosted a Father's Day BBQ this year so we could have everyone together! 

It was a beautiful afternoon!

It turned out to be a GREAT day to celebrate the special men in our life!!

Sophia Jo {One Month}

Our little peanut is one month old today!! It's hard to believe that a whole month has come and gone already. And what a month it has been!! A month of a TON of firsts, a TON of love, a TON of joy, and very LITTLE sleep! Ha! But sooo worth it!!

Sophia is an eating machine and is growing like a weed!
She now weighs 10 lbs 10 oz!! She is turning into our chunky monkey.
 We just love the little rolls she is getting on her legs!

In her first month Sophia did a LOT of visiting and meeting new people!

 Everyone loves getting snuggles from her!! 

She also had her first bath at home!
 She was not too happy at first, but by the end she seemed pretty content!
She now enjoys her baths on a regular basis!

We have been trying to enjoy the outdoors when the weather cooperates!
Sophia has been on many walks already and loves being outside!

Sophia spent alot of time sleeping this month...just not at night time! Ha!
She spent the first 2 weeks in her bassinet in our bedroom but didn't like it very much, so she is now in her crib in her own bedroom! She is getting used to her crib, though she MUCH prefers sleeping and snuggling in someones arms or on their chest!

As the month progressed Sophia became more and more alert!
 Its been fun to see her start to make eye contact and focus on things!
We can already see her little personality forming!

Its been an incredible month watching our little girl grow!
We can't wait to see what changes the next month brings!
