In mid April my wonderful cousin Lyndey hosted a baby shower for me and Miss Peanut! It was a fabulous afternoon spent with my family, great food, fun games, and of course Peanut was spoiled rotten!! This particular day was also VERY exciting as it was the day that Cody played in his first NHL game with the Tampa Bay Lightning. So in between 'baby talk' we were all getting updates on the game and how he was doing! I am a VERY PROUD big sister and it made this day even more special and memorable!
Lyndey and Me!
It's crazy to think that last year around this time
I was hosting her baby shower!!
My Mom, Me, My Mother In Law
We played lots of fun games and this one is always a favourite!
Everyone had to use a piece of ribbon and guess how big my tummy was!
Grandma was pretty close...
My Mom was WAY off...ha!
My cousins gave it a spin...
Brit also thought I was ALOT bigger ha!
My cousin Jen ended up being the winner of the ribbon game!
And somehow I didn't get a picture of it!! But let me tell you this girl has a talent when it comes to this game...She had the ribbon the EXACT size of my tummy! And what is even crazier is that at our last two family baby showers she has ALSO won this game!! She is good!!!
Me and my mother in law enjoying some yummy snacks!
My family!
Me and Lucas just hanging out!
All of my cousins have VERY cute kids!!
Ryley was my present helper!! He is getting so big!!
The big ones were a little tricky!
You can NEVER have enough kids books!!!
Ryley was getting a lil tired of all of the 'girly' gifts I was getting
so he decided that he would give away this pink headband!! Ha! So cute!!
I got a VERY special gift from my cousin Kerri!!
She MADE peanut her very first ballet tutu!!
It is sooo tiny and pretty much the cutest thing I have ever seen!! Ha!
She will be wearing it for her newborn pictures FOR SURE!!!
Me after opening all of Peanuts amazing gifts!!
She is definitely one very loved little girl!!
My baby shower was a very special day and one that I will cherish forever!
XOXO
