Our trip to the Pumpkin Patch!

In the middle of October we headed out to the Pumpkin Patch with some friends! The pumpkin patch was located about 45 minutes out of Sherwood Park and I had been there many years ago with one of my classes for a field trip! It was a beautiful Fall day and we had a great time taking in all of the pumpkin activities!!

Sophia's first trip on a school bus!
The pumpkin patch was SUPER busy on this day so we had to park in the overflow parking and then take a school bus to the main farm area!

They had hay bales decorated all over the farm!
I wish I had taken more pictures of them all!

Welcome!

They had a little 'town' set up all around the farm/pumpkin patch! Since Sophia is still too little to do most of the activities we just walked around and checked everything out!

And then we found the PUMPKINS!!

She seemed a little confused as to why I kept making her 'sit' among all of these weird bumpy things?! Ha!! Anything for a good picture right?! lol

Sophia liked feeling the pumpkins and of course she tried to put it in her mouth!!
I think she will be a pumpkin pie lover like her mommy...

Look at those leaves!!
My beautiful family on a beautiful Fall day!!

We picked out 3 mini pumpkins to take home that day!
Sophia was pretty pleased with her pumpkin!

Helping Mommy read the map to figure out where to go next!

Pumpkins!!

Sophia and her BFF Harper just chillin on the hay bales!

Getting a picture of these two is never easy!! Ha!

We bought lunch at the pumpkin patch and it was DELICIOUS!!
Nothing beats a smoky, garden fresh potatoes and
homemade pumpkin pie on a gorgeous Fall day!!

After lunch we stopped in to look at some more pumpkins before we left!
I have seriously never seen so many pumpkins in my life!!

And a family selfie to end our day at the Pumpkin Patch!!
We can't wait to go back next year!!
