A few weeks ago we celebrated Sophia's first Easter! We spent lots of time with family and friends, and ate a TON of yummy food. Unfortunately Sophia was just beginning to get that AWFUL flu bug so our Easter festivities turned out to be a bit more 'low key' then planned. But we still had a great time!!
The week before Easter we just happened to be walking through the mall and saw the Easter Bunny! Sophia loved him and kept trying to pet his hands!
I added a few 'Easter' touches around the house!
This was a bad idea...I have a BAD addiction to Mini Eggs and
this bowl never seemed to stay full for very long...
On Good Friday we celebrated Easter with my family and my Grandma.
Sophia was not feeling very well at this point but we still managed to get her dressed in her Easter dress!
Easter gifts from Grandma and Grandpa!
She's starting to understand how to open presents!
She was VERY intrigued by this glittery, singing chick!
Table all set for a yummy Easter dinner!
On Saturday we celebrated Easter with Damian's parents at a local restaurant. Sophia was in rough shape again, so she spent most of the evening snuggled up in someones arms.
Easter Morning!!
The Easter bunny stopped at our house and brought Sophia her special basket!
She was pretty excited! And feeling a little bit better for a few hours!
YUM! Treats from her plastic eggs!
New shades for summer!
She was VERY excited about her new bathing suit!
And at first she was afraid of the bubbles...but that turned around quickly!
Damian made us a yummy Easter brunch!
Sick little girl was NOT loving her bunny ears! ha!
Back at Grandma and Grandpa's for another Easter meal!
And the Easter Bunny stopped there too!
Another special basket of goodies for Sophia!
The Easter Bunny brought Sophia TWO pairs of Toms!
And she thought they were a very tasty treat!
That Grandma is SOO funny!!
Chocolate fondue for dessert! YUMMY!!
Hanging out with Uncle Kellen.
Who was wearing Grandpa's chef coat for some reason?!
Sophia liked when Uncle Kellen put on the bunny ears!
And that was our Easter!
We had a wonderful time with family, but just wished that Sophia had been feeling a bit better. I hope you all had an enjoyable Easter with your loved ones as well!
