Yahoo it's FRIDAY!
I'm linking up this week with AndreaErika, and Narci for Friday Favourites! If you have a blog, you should link up with your favourites from the week too!

This is a whole bunch of RANDOM from my week...

-ONE-
I did a little bit of 'spring shopping' a few weeks ago and its finally been nice enough to wear some 'lighter' clothing! I don't like to spend alot on my clothes and one of my go to places is Joe Fresh at Superstore. I pretty much LOVE the fact that I can get all of my groceries and an outfit at the same time! Gotta love my awkward selfies!!

 -TWO-
Sophia's FIRST Birthday invites are sealed and delivered!!
Exciting and sad all at the same time!!

-THREE-
Baby capri pants are pretty much the cutest thing ever! Especially on those chunky baby thighs!

-FOUR-
Random Starbucks delivery for the win!! I have the BEST friends ever! My friend Carlene had to pick up something from my house this week and when she came she brought me my favourite Vanilla Bean Frappe! YUM!!

-FIVE-
This girl has turned into SUCH a character!!
You know your playing hard when your headband looks like this!!

-SIX-
I LOVE tacos!! So when I saw these new shells I HAD to try them. And they were SOOO good!! It was like eating a taco wrapped in a Dorito chip! ha ha! DELICIOUS!!

-SEVEN-
I woke up to THIS note this week and was SO EXCITED!!!
Full House was my ultimate favourite show growing up!
I can't wait to see what this new show will be all about!!
FULL HOUSE LOVE!!

-EIGHT-
My brother and Brit got a puppy this week!! Rue Kunyk is officially part of our family! And she is the sweetest and tiniest thing ever!! She is not even 1 pound yet!! I can't wait for them to be home for the summer so we can meet her!!

-NINE-
These two are my whole wide world!! It was a beautiful evening one night this week so we spent a little time out in the backyard getting Sophia used to the grass. She is still very confused by it! ha ha!

 -TEN-
Damian got our hot tub all sparkly clean and ready for the summer!! We LOVE our hot tub and get a TON of use out of it! Especially on beautiful summer nights!
 -ELEVEN-
That face...
I hope I can cuddle her like this until she is 20!!!

Thanks for stopping by!! Have a great weekend!!

Bacon Wrapped Pork with Mango Salsa

Now the title of this recipe MIGHT sound a little complicated...but the actual recipe is FAR from!! And it is delicious!! I mean, you just can't go wrong with bacon wrapped ANYTHING as far as I'm concerned. This is a perfect weekday meal as it can be ready in about 30 minutes. PERFECT!

Bacon wrapped Pork with Mango Salsa
What you need:
4 pork chops (boneless)
4 slices bacon
1/3 cup zesty Italian dressing
2 mango's, chopped
1/2 cup red pepper, finely chopped
2 green onions, finely chopped
1 tbsp fresh cilantro
2 tbsp lime juice

Wrap one bacon slice around the edge of each pork chop.
Use a tooth pick to secure it in place
Spray a large skillet with cooking spray and heat on high.
Add the pork. Cook, partially covered on medium heat, for 25 mins. Turning after 15 minutes.
While the meat is cooking, combine the dressing, mango, red pepper, onion, cilantro and lime juice.
Mix well!
Remove the pork from the pan and discard the toothpicks.
Serve the pork topped with the mango salsa!
ENJOY!!

Easter 2015

A few weeks ago we celebrated Sophia's first Easter! We spent lots of time with family and friends, and ate a TON of yummy food. Unfortunately Sophia was just beginning to get that AWFUL flu bug so our Easter festivities turned out to be a bit more 'low key' then planned. But we still had a great time!!

The week before Easter we just happened to be walking through the mall and saw the Easter Bunny! Sophia loved him and kept trying to pet his hands!

I added a few 'Easter' touches around the house!

This was a bad idea...I have a BAD addiction to Mini Eggs and
this bowl never seemed to stay full for very long...

On Good Friday we celebrated Easter with my family and my Grandma.
Sophia was not feeling very well at this point but we still managed to get her dressed in her Easter dress!

Easter gifts from Grandma and Grandpa!

She's starting to understand how to open presents!

She was VERY intrigued by this glittery, singing chick!

Table all set for a yummy Easter dinner!

On Saturday we celebrated Easter with Damian's parents at a local restaurant. Sophia was in rough shape again, so she spent most of the evening snuggled up in someones arms.

Easter Morning!!
The Easter bunny stopped at our house and brought Sophia her special basket!

She was pretty excited! And feeling a little bit better for a few hours!

YUM! Treats from her plastic eggs!

New shades for summer!

She was VERY excited about her new bathing suit!

And at first she was afraid of the bubbles...but that turned around quickly!

Damian made us a yummy Easter brunch!

Sick little girl was NOT loving her bunny ears! ha!

Back at Grandma and Grandpa's for another Easter meal!

And the Easter Bunny stopped there too!
Another special basket of goodies for Sophia!

The Easter Bunny brought Sophia TWO pairs of Toms!
And she thought they were a very tasty treat!

That Grandma is SOO funny!!

Chocolate fondue for dessert! YUMMY!!

Hanging out with Uncle Kellen.
Who was wearing Grandpa's chef coat for some reason?!

Sophia liked when Uncle Kellen put on the bunny ears!

And that was our Easter!
We had a wonderful time with family, but just wished that Sophia had been feeling a bit better. I hope you all had an enjoyable Easter with your loved ones as well!
