Another GOLDEN Birthday!

We celebrated another GOLDEN birthday in our family last week! And this time it was my wonderful hubby's special day! Damian turned 29 on November 29th!
I'm just glad his age has finally caught up to mine again! Ha! 

Damian's birthday landed on a Saturday, so it was nice to have a whole day of family time. We started out with some lounging and of course gifts! Damian has the excitement of a 5 year old when it comes to opening gifts!! He had been bugging me allll week to just let him open his presents ha ha! 

And of course Sophia was eager to help Daddy open his gifts!
This girl is going to be a HOT MESS on Christmas morning!!

After Damian opened his gifts we got ready for the day and headed out for breakfast at Cora's. Damian's Dad joined us for breakfast so that was a nice addition.

After breakfast we headed to the mall to see Santa!! We were a little concerned as to how Sophia would do with Santa, but she did GREAT! And we even got to visit with Santa too! (More pics coming!)

In the evening we hosted our families and a few friends for a Golden Birthday celebration! We had everyone over for appetizers, drinks, and of course cupcakes! I tried my best to make all of the 'golden' not too girly for the party! No gold glitter at this Golden birthday!! Ha!

Damian LOVES Ferraro Rocher chocolate! So I made him chocolate Ferraro rocher cupcakes and they turned out pretty tasty!

We had some champagne to celebrate the birthday boy!

And it was only fitting to have Ferraro Rochers as the party favours as they are Damian's fav and they are GOLD!
